Administrator setup
This is a reviewable checklist, not a remote setup wizard. HoneyMesh starts in TEST; only the local operator can select an interface and authorize ENFORCE.
The current Core Beta path is Ubuntu 24.04 AMD64 with generic XDP on a noncritical host. Record the kernel and network interface; other platforms are not qualified by this beta.
Check supported scopeInfrastructure Pro monthly beta is the current self-service checkout. After payment, verify the billing email before downloading Core. Compare the package hash against the publisher-signed manifest.
Review signed downloadsFollow the exact RC4 quickstart. Keep Exchange and trusted sharing off, leave public interfaces unattached initially, and inspect normal and controlled trap events without blocking.
Read the RC4 quickstartKeep a separate VPS console or management route, review the allowlist and prepare the documented emergency XDP detach before a short ENFORCE window.
Review recovery stepsUse a source you control and a separate control source. Only enable generic XDP on the selected test interface after checking the recovery path. Verify both block and release, then return to TEST.
See measured examplesDocument the exact package, interface, mode, TTL, control results and rollback. Node Guard, Node Pro and distributed coordination remain separate pilot paths.
Review Node pilot gatesThe local-only beta is configuration-based, not a code-locked edition. General production and distributed Pro qualification remain open. Keep existing security controls in place during evaluation.
